ROCKET STOVES

A Rocket Mass Heater is a type of a masonry heater that has been designed specifically for the those who want to do it themselves, and often with many reused materials, making it more affordable and accessible.

A Rocket Mass Heater is a type of wood burning stove that utilizes masonry heater principles to create efficient, clean combustion. Due to the stoves unique design it has a very strong draw, and therefor the flue gasses can be sent horizontal, through benches or walls, and the heat is then transferred into ‘mass’, the mass then continues to release heat long after the fire is out. Rocket Stoves can also be used to heat homes, heat water, cook on, or even fire kilns. They can be built so they burn very clean, producing almost no smoke.

We also added perlite clay insulation behind the heater, so we dont loose heat to the outside.
